If you’ve visited ourlocaltour.com recently, you’ll have noticed something different. We’ve just launched a brand new website, along with a refreshed logo! It’s been a while in the making, and we’re excited to finally share it with you.
Why we redesigned
Our old website had served us well, but it had started to show its age. Pages loaded slowly, it wasn’t always easy to browse on a phone, and finding the right trip information wasn’t as simple as it should be. As Our Local Tour has grown and as more of you have come to us for premium, tailor-made adventures we felt it was time our website (and our branding) properly reflected who we are today.
So we’ve rebuilt it from the ground up, with a clear goal: make it easier for you to explore our trips, get the information you need, and get in touch with us.
What’s new
A few of the improvements you’ll notice straight away:
Easier trip browsing. Our destinations and itineraries are now presented more clearly, with a better user experience and more content, so you can get a real feel for each trip before you even speak to us.
A site that works properly on your phone. Whether you’re planning from your laptop or browsing on the sofa with your phone, the new site is designed to work smoothly on any device.
A simpler way to enquire. We’ve streamlined the enquiry and booking process, so getting a conversation started with us takes fewer clicks and less hassle.
A faster, more findable site. Behind the scenes, we’ve made technical improvements to speed and search visibility, meaning the site loads quicker, and it’s easier for people searching for premium adventure travel to find us in the first place.
Alongside this, we’ve refreshed our logo too. It is a cleaner, more considered look that we feel better represents the kind of trips we create.
What this means for you
First and most importantly, nothing about the way we work with you is changing. You’ll still get the same trusted, personal service you expect from Our Local Tour, along with the same thoughtfully planned, tailor-made adventures and small group tours. This is a new look, not a new approach.
What will change is how easy it is to plan with us. Browsing trips, finding the details you need, and getting in touch are all simpler than before. In short, the site now looks and feels the way we’ve always wanted it to, and it properly reflects the soft adventure focused experiences we specialise in.
