The Okeanos Conservation Centre is home to a variety of marine animals, including sea turtles, seahorses, and sharks, while the Manuel Antonio Wildlife Rescue Centre rescues and rehabilitates injured and orphaned animals – both offer tours and educational programs.

Many restaurants and bars in the area serve delicious food and drinks, with shops for souvenirs, plus yoga studios and massage therapists for a more active way to relax.

- The best time to visit is during the dry season, which runs from December to April.

- Manuel Antonio is a relatively small town, easy to get around on foot or by bike, with taxis and buses also available.
